Diego Beltran
Principal Consultant
Diego Beltran is a Principal Consultant with Protegra. With over 10 years experience
in multiple facets of the IT industry, Diego is well suited to guide clients in
developing business strategies that are tailored to specific needs. Originally trained
as a computer analyst/programmer, he brings a diverse skill set and experience into
the Business Development team at Protegra.
Most recently, Diego has been involved with the following projects:
- Principal Consultant leading the efforts of Online Reservation Solutions outside
of the province.
- Application Architect and Senior Developer for the Home Office Platform project
for LPL Financial.
- Developer for the Parks Reservation System.
- Managed the development of Distance Learning Software for PBSC (IBM owned) including
a team of 24 developers and the coordination of this product’s translation into
7 languages.
Diego graduated with honours from Red River College, attaining his diploma as a
Computer Analyst/Programmer. He also holds degrees in Social Work & Journalism.
He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and is currently learning Japanese.
In his spare time he is actively involved in martial arts. He currently holds a
4th degree black belt and runs Guardian Dojo Karate Schools in Canada, Argentina
and Bolivia in addition to his duties as Branch Chief and Canadian Coach for the
International Kyokushin-kan Karate Organization. Diego is also proud to be co-founder
of the Plan 3000, a program that aids poverty-stricken children in Bolivia.
