Application/Solution Architect
The application architect is responsible for the functional design of our systems solutions, including
feature sets, data model, storyboards and other project design artifacts. This role provides the bridge
between the business and the technical delivery team. To do this, the application architect communicates
often with the business analyst, domain experts, project manager, and technical architect.
The application architect will envision the application and its use to design a solution. The successful
candidate can demonstrate leadership competency and will have solid application design, implementation
and consulting experience. Subject matter expertise in wealth management, financial services or telecommunications,
and excellent communication skills (oral and written) would be a definite asset.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Diploma in Computer Science or a combination of professional training
and experience, and 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience designing enterprise-type applications
of moderate complexity and leading small to medium sized project teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead
client discussions in business process, features and functionality
- Candidates with extensive systems
analysis experience may also be considered
Technical Architect (Microsoft, Java, Open Source)
The successful candidate can demonstrate leadership competency and will have solid design, development,
implementation and consulting experience in one or more of the listed key technologies. Protegra technical
architects design technical solutions, manage Protegra assets and are responsible for the technical
feasibility and performance of our solutions. With demonstrated abilities, there is opportunity for
growth of this role into that of consultant of practice leader.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Diploma in Computer Science or a combination of professional training
and experience, and 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience designing enterprise-type applications
of moderate complexity and leading small to medium sized project teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead
client discussions in technical and systems implementation
- Candidates with extensive application
architecture experience may also be considered
Programmer Analyst
A range of junior to senior positions are available for suitable candidates with C#, Java, ASP.Net or
VB.Net experience.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Diploma in Computer Science or a combination of professional training
and experience and 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in designing, developing, testing and
documenting software components
- Basic understanding of Object Oriented development and Relational
Database concepts
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment
Principal Consultant/Practice Leader
